Senior Project Manager, Service Delivery

Location: Toronto, Canada — hybrid work model; legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid work or study permit may be required.

Salary: CAD 120,000–170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead software implementation projects for SS&C clients from initiation through completion.
• Define and manage project scope, resources, schedules, budgets, baselines, and milestones.
• Work with clients and internal teams to establish objectives, align stakeholders, and manage expectations.
• Identify project risks, plan mitigation strategies, manage changes, and resolve escalated issues.
• Coordinate consultants and cross-functional teams across Managed Services, IT, R&D, and other functions.
• Improve delivery processes and contribute to organizational project management practices.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of client-facing software implementation experience.
• 6–10 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably asset management.
• Experience with project management tools and complex Work Breakdown Structures.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• SS&C product knowledge.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or leading cross-functional teams.
