Corporate Project Manager IV (Accounting)

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent projects across the full project management lifecycle, from initiation and planning through implementation and closeout.
• Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and performance objectives.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, business leaders, and vendors to align stakeholders, communicate risks and dependencies, and drive decisions.
• Create and maintain project charters, business requirements, communication plans, resource plans, risk mitigation plans, testing plans, implementation plans, and executive reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve Accounts Payable and Finance processes, optimize business processes and technology solutions, and support operational efficiency.
• Lead change management, organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and controls.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or Airtable.
• Strong technical aptitude, organization, planning, task management, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, work extended hours, and travel by car or plane with overnight stays.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Finance transformation, ERP, AP automation, procure-to-pay, or accounting system implementations.
