IT Project Manager - Public Sector (ERP)

Location: Must be based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Georgia; hybrid with travel and onsite requirements

Salary: $88,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead state government ERP migration projects and serve as the primary point of contact for project leadership.
• Direct independent verification and validation activities, assessments, deliverables, and project work products.
• Manage project teams across business analysis, architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and project assurance.
• Coordinate stakeholders, communicate project performance, anticipate blockers, and resolve complex client problems.
• Analyze research, complex data, and financial information to develop practical recommendations.
• Support RFP responses, bid decisions, competitive positioning, and business development.

Requirements

• Experience implementing or managing technical projects for large-scale cloud-based ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft or SAP S/4HANA RISE migrations.
• Experience providing IV&V for large ERP or financial system implementation projects.
• Must be based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Georgia.
• At least 10 years of technology experience and 5+ years of relevant experience in IV&V, project management, QA, implementation, or project oversight for state governments.
• PMP certification, a bachelor's degree, strong analytical and financial skills, and excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 25% regionally and occasionally across the country.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, data warehouses, business intelligence, data migration, data interfaces, and software implementation.
• Graduate degree and experience with enterprise HR, financial, health and human services, or government operations systems.
