Technical Trainer Developer (Software and Hardware)

Location: United States — Shakopee, Minnesota (GHQ). Unrestricted US work authorization is required; no relocation. International travel may be required.

Salary: $76,126–$111,651 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze audience and user needs to design effective technical course curricula within product release schedules.
• Research product information with engineering, service, manufacturing, and other subject-matter experts.
• Develop hands-on training materials for operators, administrators, and maintenance personnel.
• Deliver technical training to internal and external customers using presentations, practice activities, web conferencing, and multimedia self-study.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations to measure course and delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience developing and delivering technical training courses.
• Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Articulate, SolidWorks, and Creative Cloud.
• At least 1 year of experience working with internal and external customers and managing projects.
• Strong understanding of software principles and techniques, plus excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with the card personalization industry or hirify.global products and solutions.
• Multimedia training development experience.
• Multilingual capability.
