Location: Hybrid in North Andover, Massachusetts, United States. Office attendance is required Monday through Wednesday, with remote work available Thursday and Friday. In-person training may require Monday–Friday office attendance, and up to 30% domestic travel to Learning Center locations, facilities, field locations, and customer sites.
Salary: $116,000–$130,000 yearly.

What you will do
- Deliver hands-on and virtual instructor-led training on plumbing products and water system solutions.
- Design and update instructor-led, Lunch & Learn, and e-learning curricula.
- Partner with product engineering, technical support, sales, marketing, customers, and channel partners to identify training gaps and improve product knowledge, installation quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and coach Technical Instructors and Instructional Designers.
- Maintain training equipment, lab facilities, and demonstration units.
- Develop training policies, procedures, standards, templates, and instructional design projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or education, or equivalent experience; 10+ years of directly relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least 6 years of experience as a technical instructor, course developer, or instructional designer in construction, mechanical engineering, plumbing, or industrial products.
- Deep knowledge of water-based plumbing systems, including potable water, hydronic cooling, fire protection, and municipal systems, as well as HVAC and flow-control products.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint, and comfort working in a hybrid office environment.
- Ability to lift and carry training equipment and demonstration units weighing up to 50 pounds and set up training lab equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience with ADDIE or a similar instructional design methodology.
- Experience training on plumbing or HVAC products.
- Hands-on trade experience as a journeyman plumber, pipefitter, or similar professional.
- Customer-facing experience and familiarity with products or competitor equivalents.
