TL;DR
Senior Unix/Linux Administrator (Server Support Specialist) (RedHat/Unix, GCP, Ansible, Terraform): Managing and improving enterprise server operations across hybrid-cloud infrastructure with an accent on incident reduction, automation, resource optimization, and cybersecurity compliance. Focus on troubleshooting large-scale RHEL and Unix environments, optimizing GCP spend, maintaining configuration integrity, and implementing patching, hardening, and monitoring practices.
Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week from the office
Rate: Up to 110 PLN per hour

What you will do
- Reduce major incidents, optimize resources, and improve IT operations across enterprise server infrastructure.
- Design, build, and maintain Ansible and Terraform automation for infrastructure operations, GCP cost optimization, and compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RedHat Enterprise Linux and Unix issues and restore services quickly across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Maintain configuration integrity and support daily management of several hundred enterprise servers.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies through patching, hardening, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Server Engineering and global support units.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing several hundred RedHat Enterprise Linux and Unix servers in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform and practical experience with Red Hat Satellite.
- Proven experience building and implementing infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform.
- Familiarity with modern monitoring tools, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Spoken and written English at B2 level or higher.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Solaris, AIX, or IBMi.
- Veritas Cluster Administration or VMware support experience.
- Experience in a financial institution or another highly regulated environment.
