What you will do

• Define process integration roadmaps, manufacturing flows, procedures, and equipment configurations for incoming technology transfers.
• Analyze structured and unstructured manufacturing data using statistics, machine learning, coding techniques, and programming languages.
• Own sustaining and continuous improvement of quality, integrated defect measurements, and parametric measurements in startup and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Drive low-yield analysis and yield improvement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish continuous improvement programs to prevent quality, line-yield, and sort-yield excursions.
• Perform quality and reliability risk assessments for discrepant manufacturing materials and process changes.

Requirements

• PhD in materials science, chemistry, electrical engineering, or solid-state physics.
• Coursework and hands-on laboratory experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes, chemistry, materials, and physics.
• Industry, internship, or academic research experience relevant to semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience or research involving semiconductor devices, circuits, failure analysis, or fault-isolation technologies is relevant to the role.
• Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.
