Senior Manager Logistics

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and their leadership teams while planning the workforce for up to 300 indirect employees.
• Manage end-to-end logistics operations across assigned warehouse areas.
• Steer productivity, quality, cost, and service-level performance through KPIs and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, labor regulations, ISO 9001, and GDP standards.
• Lead logistics projects involving new processes and operational concepts.
• Report performance, risks, and improvement actions to the (Associate) Director Logistics.

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a comparable commercial qualification.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant logistics or warehouse operations experience with senior operational leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing large operational teams through multiple leadership layers.
• Strong KPI-based performance management and productivity steering skills.
• Solid understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Professional working proficiency in English and German.
