Senior Technician-Equipment (Maintenance) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; on-site work with 0–25% travel. Candidates must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control requirements.

Hourly pay range: $24.52–$53.85 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Install, modify, upgrade, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a wafer fabrication facility.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Study equipment performance and reliability and create solutions that increase uptime.
• Maintain records of manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Define and create preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering teams while following cleanroom and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Technical or military training in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent related experience.
• 7+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
• Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits at component level, including testing transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors with a multimeter.
• Experience soldering and desoldering printed-circuit-board components and repairing cable harnesses.
• Familiarity with equipment safety and performance standards and regulations.

Nice to have

• Diploma in a technical field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Diode manufacturing and testing experience.
• Experience with MIL-PRF-19500 and/or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture.
