Process Technician I - Semiconductor Manufacturing

Location: Colorado Springs, Federal or Elkton, depending on business needs; on-site manufacturing role. Shift: Days, 7:00 am–7:00 pm.

Salary: $21–$25 per hour USD.

High-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor supplier supporting advanced packaging of wafer and die-level silicon products from manufacturing locations in Colorado Springs.

What you will do

• Program processing tools for engineering tests and set up processing equipment.
• Support process and R&D engineers with process development, engineering evaluations, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Monitor equipment, respond to tool alarms, investigate root causes, and disposition non-conforming production material.
• Manage engineering tests through the full process flow and investigate low-yield lots to define corrective actions.
• Compile processing data into standardized reports, charts, and graphs for technicians and engineers.
• Document operating procedures, train operators, and support improvements across multiple process steps.

Requirements

• GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a process or engineering technician in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to monitor and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Ability to work the stated day shift at the Colorado Springs or Elkton manufacturing location, depending on business needs.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a process or engineering technician in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
