What you will do

• Execute wafer fabrication steps for InP-based lasers, gain chips, and other III-V photonic devices.
• Operate process equipment for wet cleaning, chemical processing, photoresist coating, thin-film deposition, and dry etching.
• Load and unload wafers, select recipes, follow process travelers and MES instructions, and protect wafers from contamination or damage.
• Monitor process parameters and perform optical, film thickness, index, and stress inspections.
• Record process data, tool usage, lot completion, deviations, and abnormalities in logs or MES.
• Support engineering runs, DOE experiments, process qualifications, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication cleanroom; III-V or photonics experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of cleanroom practices, contamination control, chemical handling and safety, and wafer handling.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and process instructions with high accuracy.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom for extended periods, stand for long durations, perform repetitive tasks, handle fragile wafers, and wear full cleanroom gowning.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts as required and comply with safety and operational procedures.
