Salary: $102,800–$139,100 USD annual salary range

What you will do

  • Contribute to module process development, process integration flows, and equipment configuration for manufacturing modules.
  • Analyze defect data, conduct experiments, and support yield improvement and risk assessment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize metrology strategies and troubleshoot process flow issues.
  • Support continuous improvement in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Apply research knowledge through hands-on projects aligned with hirify.global business goals.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
  • Proficiency in microscopy techniques, with a background in circuit design and semiconductor device physics.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or a similar programming language.
  • Understanding of scan and automatic test pattern generation methodologies.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Nice to have

  • Being a third- or fourth-year PhD candidate.
  • Hands-on experience with physics experiments, microscopy, EDA tools, or testing engineering.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and post-silicon debugging.
  • Experience with JMP, Python, MATLAB, Tessent tools, or diagnosis data interpretation.
