What you will do

  • Support wafer-fab tools and processes in areas such as photo, etch, deposition, and diffusion.
  • Develop, monitor, and test semiconductor products manufactured on silicon and gallium arsenide wafers.
  • Create and update process specifications and monitor tool and process results using SPC.
  • Design, run, and document experiments, including process changes and improvements.
  • Lead initiatives to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and lower manufacturing costs.
  • Qualify new equipment and communicate process-improvement recommendations to the wafer-fabrication engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including high proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to organize and present process-improvement information and develop creative solutions to manufacturing problems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with legacy wafer fabrication technologies using 3-inch to 6-inch wafers.
  • Experience in photo or etch processes.
  • Ability to use AI for research, data analysis, and data presentation.
