2027 Summer Intern - Legal & Compliance Analyst

Location: Onsite at hirify.global’s Newport Beach, California headquarters; relocation to one of the office locations is supported through a transition bonus.

What you will do

• Support investment compliance activities by interpreting regulations and monitoring trades for more than 4,000 public funds and separate accounts.
• Review marketing materials, broker-dealer regulations, anti-financial crime requirements, conflicts of interest, and other regulatory compliance areas.
• Evaluate controls designed to mitigate regulatory risk and monitor adherence to regulatory standards.
• Resolve inquiries, conduct scenario analysis, contribute to AI-based initiatives, and participate in technology testing.
• Complete a detailed compliance project, develop and present proposals, and drive meaningful organizational change.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance subject-matter experts and departments across the firm.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester and available for full-time employment from a hirify.global office between January and August 2028.
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, investment finance, or legal and compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and creative problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
