Associate General Counsel - Global Ethics and Compliance Program

Location: USA - Washington, D.C.

Base salary: $134,000–$248,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain and continuously improve enterprise-wide ethics and compliance programs in line with established practices and standards.
• Manage regulatory change processes for global technology and information services business lines and assess the impact of proposed regulations.
• Integrate compliance into risk management frameworks and advise Risk Management on related initiatives.
• Represent Compliance on company-wide initiatives, lead legal workstreams, and advise ethics and global compliance operations.
• Maintain the Code of Ethics and supporting policies, including annual updates and policy training.
• Support location-based Ethics and Compliance Representative programs, performance reporting, acquisition diligence and integration, incident response, and ad hoc legal needs.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience practicing law across a broad range of subject areas.
• Enterprise-wide corporate compliance experience in a global technology organization, including experience in several relevant areas such as compliance program structuring, technology regulation, sanctions and export controls, anti-corruption, corporate ethics, or incident response.
• Experience managing complex, long-term change-management projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to executive audiences.
• Experience using AI, automation, and other technology tools to accelerate analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
• JD from an accredited US law school and admission to practice law in at least one US state or the District of Columbia.

• Experience in commercial contracting or serving as legal advisor to a revenue-generating business unit.
• Experience addressing novel legal issues and providing practical advice under ambiguous legal requirements.
