What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backend applications, REST APIs, microservices, and workflow services for the Atlas platform.
- Build secure, high-performance solutions using modern backend frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven design.
- Integrate databases, AI services, workflow engines, and external enterprise systems through APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and engineering teams.
- Develop automated testing and CI/CD capabilities, monitor application performance, resolve production issues, and improve reusable services.
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade backend applications and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, workflow orchestration, and automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development and Azure services, plus SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and backend performance optimization.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, DevOps practices, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Graduate qualification and experience working in Agile development teams.
- Exposure to workflow, orchestration, or document-processing platforms.
- Exposure to AI or agent frameworks and Azure AI services.
- Experience with high-volume enterprise platforms, observability tools, and application performance management.
- Financial services, operations, or workflow transformation experience.
