Manufacturing Engineer (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, processes, test procedures, and time standards for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Manage ECR/ECO workflows from the initial problem statement through evaluation, approval, implementation, and execution.
• Review engineering changes for BOM structure, customer and organizational impact, product effects, completeness, and implementation scope.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and recommend tooling, process, and DFx improvements to reduce costs and improve product quality.
• Collect and evaluate operational and test data, determine root causes, and prepare corrective and failure analysis actions for assembly and testing issues.
• Coordinate change implementation boards, impacted engineering teams, suppliers, kits, and assemblies while mediating conflicts and improving ECO processes.

Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of ECR/ECO processes, roles, responsibilities, forms, instructions, and policies.
• Working knowledge of PLM/PDM systems, including Teamcenter Engineering, Windchill, and SAP.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and UGNX is required.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, supplier manufacturing processes, lean principles, and cross-functional collaboration.
