Head of Quality (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the local Quality Management System according to central regulations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate quality activities across Customer Quality, Internal Quality, Supplier Quality, and Management Systems & Methods.
• Resolve raw material quality issues with headquarters and suppliers, including supplier audits when required.
• Coordinate product approval, first-sample launches, requalification, special releases, and re-sampling during serial production.
• Lead ISO/TS 16949-related certification and internal, customer, and third-party audits, including corrective actions.
• Lead quality task forces and represent the quality function in customer interactions.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a technical or related role within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of automotive products, technologies, and customers.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and automotive Core Tools including APQP, FMEA, PPAP/PPF, SPC, Q7 tools, and complaints management.
• Conversational English is mandatory.
• Strong communication, team coordination, conflict management, strategic thinking, and customer-oriented skills.
