VP, Enterprise Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible. Global travel of up to 25–30% is required.

Annual base salary: $304,791.66–$398,124.99, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise quality strategy and establish a unified global quality management system across SBUs, regions, products, and manufacturing locations.
• Lead quality performance across suppliers, manufacturing, engineering, aftermarket, and field operations.
• Drive APQP/PPAP, Design for Quality, early launch containment, structured problem-solving, and preventive quality methodologies.
• Reduce Cost of Poor Quality, rework, defects, warranty costs, and quality escapes through enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.
• Implement predictive and prescriptive analytics, IoT and computer-vision defect detection, automated workflows, digital traceability, and a Quality Data Warehouse.
• Build global quality capabilities, governance, talent pipelines, accountability, and continuous-improvement culture.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in global industrial, manufacturing, or complex engineered-product environments.
• Deep expertise in enterprise quality management systems, APQP/PPAP, design quality, supplier quality, and manufacturing quality.
• Proven results reducing COPQ, improving customer satisfaction, and building proactive quality cultures.
• Experience leading within global, matrixed organizations with diverse product lines and manufacturing footprints.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an engineering or technical field is preferred.
• Strong strategic leadership, collaboration, transformation, problem-solving, and customer-focus capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT, computer vision, predictive analytics, or automated inspection.
• Advanced degree or quality certification such as Six Sigma Black Belt or CQE.
