Director Project Quality Management

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model according to company policy.

What you will do

• Lead the Project Quality Management area and act as the customer’s quality representative from contract signing through project handover to Service.
• Manage global and regional PQM teams and ensure effective quality assurance and quality control across customer projects.
• Support tenders, bids, and sales by standardizing quality activities, strengthening collaboration with commercial and technical sales, and applying project learnings.
• Transfer contractual requirements into project quality plans, plan inspections, tests, and audits, and ensure component quality before construction handover.
• Drive deviation management, non-conformance reporting, NCR/8D activities, findings, final walkdowns, concessions, and continuous improvement through closure.
• Oversee project claims, non-conformance costs, and quality documentation against contractual milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in engineering.
• At least five years of experience leading quality teams or similar functions in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects.
• Background in civil construction, automotive, manufacturing, or plant engineering.
• Experience developing Quality Management Systems and applying 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, and other quality practices.
• Proven leadership, team-building, negotiation, communication, presentation, and cost- and time-efficiency skills.
• High-level English is compulsory; availability to travel is required.
