Business Analyst / Data Change Manager (SaaS)

Location: United Kingdom; hybrid work with three days per week in an office in the Surrey area or Swindon. The role requires SC clearance or the ability to obtain it and a five-year UK footprint.

What you will do

• Own business and functional requirement capture, coding, prioritisation, documentation, and lifecycle traceability across mobilisation streams.
• Lead client workshops to resolve requirement gaps and ambiguities, and define detailed transactional process flows.
• Maintain data dictionaries, functional requirements, traceability, version control, and handover artefacts for BAU and live support.
• Work with developers and test teams to ensure delivered functionality and test coverage demonstrate agreed business and functional requirements.
• Manage change and continuous improvement by assessing impact, prioritisation, commercial scope, defects, and process or technology improvements.
• Chair governance across business and supply-chain stakeholders and support teams as an escalation point for process clarification.

Requirements

• End-to-end business analysis experience on SaaS platform implementations and large-scale, multi-organisational mobilisation programmes.
• Experience converting complex contractual requirements into traceable catalogues and managing them through design, development, and testing.
• Experience with client workshops, Agile and Waterfall delivery, BAU change management, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience defining business, functional, non-functional, data, and reporting requirements, plus data dictionaries, business glossaries, and governance artefacts.
• Skills in BPMN process modelling, MoSCoW prioritisation, MS Visio, Jira, and basic SQL database understanding; MRI Evolution knowledge is preferred.
• Recognised Business Analyst accreditation and SC clearance eligibility with a five-year UK footprint are required.

Nice to have

• Degree in a technical subject.
• Knowledge of Facilities Management processes, including reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, asset management, finance, and supplier performance management.
• Experience working on both client-side and supplier-side public-sector engagements.
