Senior Business Analyst (Financial Services): Leading requirements analysis, process modelling, and system transformation initiatives for a large financial services organisation with an accent on strategic stakeholder alignment, functional specifications, and business-to-technology collaboration. Focus on designing end-to-end processes, validating complex solutions, supporting testing and change adoption, and guiding junior Business Analysts.
Location: London, United Kingdom; 2–3 days a week on site
Salary: £80,000–£90,000 per annum plus generous benefits

is supporting a large financial services organisation delivering complex system implementation and business transformation initiatives.
What you will do
- Lead the analysis, documentation, and validation of complex business requirements.
- Develop business and functional specifications and design end-to-end business processes.
- Work with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery functions to align solutions with strategic objectives.
- Identify process optimisation opportunities and support system implementation and transformation programmes.
- Lead testing and validation activities, workshops, stakeholder sessions, and change management support.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to business analysis best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in financial services or consulting.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process modelling, and business or functional documentation.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL or BI platforms.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading analysis across large-scale implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies and cross-functional delivery.
- Knowledge of financial services regulations, controls, and industry standards, with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience managing Business Analyst workstreams within financial services transformation programmes.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, digital transformation, and UX/UI principles.
- Agile or Business Analysis qualifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, CBAP, BCS, or PMI-PBA.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
