Logistics Operations Manager

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; primary location in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Manage operations involving multiple outsourced logistics providers and internal planning, ordering, purchasing, and customer account teams.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Determine staffing requirements and support recruitment, training, retention, and employee development.
• Reconcile, validate, and audit warehouse inventory operations and implement corrective actions with management.
• Manage commitment methodologies and processes across product groups and prepare operational reports and excess or obsolete inventory analyses.
• Submit claims for lost or damaged materials and support suppliers with parts claims.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze operational data and review relevant factors to determine appropriate actions.
• Ability to provide direction to employees under established policies and management guidance.
• Ability to gain cooperation from others and present technical information about projects or schedules.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight or noisy spaces.
• Ability to distinguish colors and use hand and power tools.
