Senior Legal Counsel (EMEA)

What you will do

• Lead the drafting, redlining, negotiation, and closing of SaaS enterprise sales contracts, including MSAs, GTC/ToS, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Advise Sales, Marketing, Partners, Product, People, Finance, and other teams on privacy, intellectual property, information security, corporate risk, employment, and labor law.
• Review and negotiate partnership, procurement, marketing, and other commercial agreements across EMEA and globally.
• Support new product initiatives and feature launches, monitor legal and regulatory developments, and advise on emerging risks.
• Lead legal training, cross-functional legal projects, process improvements, policy development, and governance initiatives.
• Drive regional legal strategies and support alignment of legal processes across EMEA, AMER, local counsel, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Law degree and bar admission in at least one European jurisdiction.
• At least 4 years of experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts.
• Experience negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements with Enterprise Sales teams, including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, Terms of Service, and related SaaS contracts.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracting and legal processes, with broad knowledge of the EU legal framework.
• Excellent English language skills and the ability to work remotely in Europe.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, organizational, analytical, and independent project-management skills.

Nice to have

• In-house legal experience supporting enterprise sales in SaaS or a fast-paced technology company.
• Knowledge of UK and/or U.S. law.
• AI literacy and experience using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
