Senior Technical Program Manager (Aerospace): Leading the delivery of next-generation Infrared Satellites with an accent on payload engineering and rapid-cycle space vehicle development. Salary: $175,000 - $208,000

What you will do

• Own the integrated master schedule, cost baseline, and risk register for satellite programs.
• Drive programs through design reviews, assembly, environmental testing, and final reporting.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day customer interface for briefings and status reporting.
• Manage program subcontracts and coordinate with critical-path vendors for focal plane arrays and cryocoolers.
• Partner with technical leads to drive decision-making across payload design, AI&T, and mission systems.
• Ensure compliance with U.S.-only performance, ITAR/EAR export controls, and CUI handling.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR-restricted program).
• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of professional experience in program management of complex technical systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in engineering or a similar capacity.
• Direct experience with space, defense, or aerospace industry program planning.
• Experience executing rapid-acquisition contract vehicles for government customers.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI clearance.
• Direct experience with SDA, USSF Space Systems Command, MDA, or NRO customer offices.
• Experience with missile warning, missile tracking, OPIR, or HBTSS-class programs.
• Working knowledge of MWIR sensor architectures and cryocooler integration.
• PMP certification or equivalent credentials.
