Technical Officer – Land Capability

What you will do

• Support activation, configuration and operation of system elements, equipment suites, software and interfaces for testing.
• Inspect, maintain, repair and upgrade complex electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose faults across hardware, software, network and connectivity components.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, system integration and verification.
• Maintain system and equipment baselines, configuration records, technical reports and maintenance documentation.
• Work with engineers, project teams, customers and technical specialists to resolve issues and support maintenance planning.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and fault-finding electronic and electrical equipment.
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, equipment installation, commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of network configuration, diagnosis and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance of complex technical systems.
• Ability to work within structured engineering, quality, safety and configuration management processes.
• Australian Defence Security Clearance – NV1 and ability to access ITAR-controlled information are required.
