What you will do

• Provide engineering support across mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines for the AIR5431 capability.
• Deliver and support ILS activities throughout the sustainment lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and update technical documentation, including maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct engineering investigations and root cause analysis to support corrective actions.
• Initiate and manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) through the approval process.
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and international teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Practical experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) within a complex engineering environment.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
• Working knowledge of engineering documentation, technical investigations, and configuration management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Defence acquisition or in-service support programs.
• Proficiency with ILS/LSA tools such as E-MRD.
• Understanding of the Authority to Fit (ADAASS) process.
• Experience with Defence asset management systems like CAMM2, AMPS, or MEX.
• Knowledge of MIL-STDs and Defence ILS methodologies.
