Senior Business Analyst (Investment Technology)

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the designated hirify.global office and one day outside an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Deliver and support investment technology solutions across applications, system integrations, data platforms, and architecture enhancements.
• Translate business and data requirements from portfolio managers, traders, operations, compliance, and other stakeholders into functional specifications and development tasks.
• Support the full Agile project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and rollout.
• Provide production support for critical investment applications and interfaces, including root cause analysis.
• Identify process gaps and drive scalable system, workflow, automation, and operational improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery, track progress, manage issues, and support completion within agreed timelines and budgets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an Investment Business Analyst, Product Support Analyst, or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years supporting investment teams, including portfolio managers and traders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with OMS platforms such as Aladdin or Charles River.
• Knowledge of investment data, securities, ETFs, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and adopting emerging technologies, including GenAI.

• AWS or other cloud platform knowledge.
