Human Resources Undergraduate Intern (Finance)

What you will do

• Participate in a 10-week summer internship program and gain exposure to a specific HR business function.
• Assist with core HR activities and internal projects under supervision.
• Support learning and talent development, workforce strategies and recruiting, total rewards, HR metrics and analytics, or HR strategy, delivery and risk.
• Apply academic knowledge to support business results and employee or manager initiatives.
• Build professional relationships through networking, mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, human resources, management or labor relations.
• Junior status and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated interest in Human Resources through internships, work experience, coursework, projects or related certifications.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking, effective communication, initiative and adaptability.
• Must work in the Pittsburgh office; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not provided.
