What you will do

• Manage a caseload of clients in need of employment services.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings to establish employment and education goals.
• Assist clients in developing resumes and cover letters and provide interview preparation.
• Track client progress and meetings using case notes and spreadsheets.
• Research vocational training and employment opportunities within New Jersey.
• Refer clients to internal IRC services and external public assistance programs.

Requirements

• Bilingual ability required (preferably Spanish or Haitian Creole; Arabic, Dari, Farsi, or Pashto also considered).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or current college student.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in job development, job readiness programming, or social service work with immigrants and refugees.
• Must be based in Elizabeth, NJ.
