Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other fulfillment equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues, including motors, belts, rollers, sensors, stretch wrappers, and dock doors.
• Use CMMS software to create, schedule, complete, and close work orders, log maintenance activity, and manage spare-parts inventory.
• Learn basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and motor-control circuits.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems while collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.
• Conduct safety inspections, follow lockout/tagout and OSHA standards, and provide guidance to junior maintenance staff.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center.
• At least 3 years of experience with basic trades and electrical troubleshooting up to 480V.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with material handling equipment safety standards, CMMS software, and preferably automated conveyor systems.
• Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule, solve problems, multitask, and maintain strong attendance.
• Ability to work on foot for 8–12 hours, climb ladders, access confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Technical certification and an associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience operating PIT equipment and working at height.
