Maintenance Technician III (Dayshift) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite 12-hour day shift from 6:00am to 6:30pm on a 2/2/3 schedule

What you will do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure independently.
• Troubleshoot equipment and analyze facility performance using infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings.
• Complete daily facility equipment checks and monitor building management alarms, responding to issues appropriately.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, deviations, and operational information in the CMMS and Work Request System.
• Interpret diagrams, drawings, schematics, SOPs, and technical documentation while maintaining cGMP and safety compliance.
• Support spill control, hazardous-material handling, first aid, PPE use, parts selection, and replacement-part engineering.

Requirements

• Experience working in a regulated or cGMP environment.
• Relevant skills or licensure in areas such as Ohio boiler operations, water purification, industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical/electronics, infrared or vibration analysis, pipe fitting, fire alarms, or automated material handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, work at heights of 20 feet, operate vehicles and moving machinery, work with chemicals, and wear required PPE.
• Ability to work the specified 12-hour day-shift 2/2/3 schedule onsite in West Chester, Ohio.
• Work authorization or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• High school diploma with skilled-trade certification or an associate degree in a technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience with fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment, low-voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators.
• Prior CMMS experience.
