Senior Electrical Engineer - Power (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own power electronics, power distribution, battery, and mixed-signal PCBA designs from concept through production.
• Design, simulate, prototype, implement, and test multilayer PCBAs and electrical systems.
• Develop validation plans, test procedures, fixtures, and evaluation criteria for DVT and PVT.
• Debug hardware and firmware defects, analyze failure modes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage component lifecycles in PLM systems and coordinate vendors, contract manufacturers, and design-for-manufacturability activities.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, thermal, systems, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience and a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with power electronics, including isolated and nonisolated DC/DC converters, PMSM/BLDC motor controls, FET/GaN switching topologies, thermal design, and power protection.
• Experience with battery modules, battery management systems, and battery chargers.
• Proficiency with Altium or similar CAD tools, CAD design rules, PLM systems such as Arena, and electronics simulation tools such as LTSpice or PSpice.
• Proven experience designing, prototyping, testing, and debugging PCBs and PCBAs, including manufacturing release and build support.
• Strong hardware debugging, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and hands-on laboratory skills.
