Designer (Retail Innovation)

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia, with hybrid working

What you will do

• Develop innovative retail concepts aligned with brand strategy and customer experience goals.
• Lead the design scope, budget, and program for multiple small-to-medium format innovation and Standards Toolkits projects.
• Select and value-engineer materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture to improve retail standards and control costs.
• Produce 3D visualisations, fixture designs, in-store experiences, and detailed CAD drawings for fit-outs and fixture production.
• Coordinate approvals and alignment across Design, Build, Brand, Marketing, Safety, Asset Protection, and other internal teams.
• Coordinate builders, contractors, and fixture manufacturers against project briefs, programs, and material specifications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in retail design, interior design management, architecture, or the interiors industry.
• Strong design and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management across internal and external partners.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
