Senior Engineer - Agents (Go)

Location: Remote within the ANZ region

hirify.global provides a CI platform for running builds, tests, and deployments on customer infrastructure, hirify.global infrastructure, or both.

What you will do

• Build, ship, and own features for the open-source hirify.global Agent and related infrastructure.
• Design reliable systems for partial failures, including careful rollouts, reversible migrations, and useful observability.
• Investigate complex technical problems, contribute to the roadmap, and handle production incidents.
• Rotate through Sweep support duties, working with Support and Solutions Engineers to resolve incoming issues.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, pair with colleagues, review code, and provide feedback.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate development while verifying its output.

Requirements

• Senior-level production ownership demonstrated through systems built, changed, and operated.
• High proficiency in Go or Ruby, with the ability to move between both languages as needed.
• Experience shipping small, incremental changes and owning features end to end.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, code review, and incident-response skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the ANZ region.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code modules.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization, schema design, or operating databases under load.
• Experience with React and GraphQL.
• Background in developer tooling, CI/CD, or products used by engineers.
