Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: CA$144.70–CA$202.40

What you will do

• Design and build highly scalable distributed backend systems.
• Develop core services in Golang with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Build robust data-intensive systems with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Architect systems across microservices, networking layers, and cloud platforms.
• Prototype and productionize platform capabilities and internal tooling.
• Collaborate with the CTO and senior engineers on strategic technical initiatives and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Golang.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience building highly available, scalable, and reliable backend systems.
• Strong systems thinking, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, networking, or API gateways.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source projects or internal platform tooling.
• Experience with platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling products.
