Senior Designer (AI)

Location: New York, United States; on-site. The role is based in NYC, with relocation considered for the right candidate.

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year plus equity.

hirify.global builds infrastructure for major digital platforms to enforce safety policies, deploy AI agents against abuse, investigate threats, file NCMEC reports, and measure trust and safety programs.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for assigned product surfaces, from problem framing through shipped UI, in close partnership with product and engineering.
• Conduct discovery with Trust & Safety customers and users, translating insights into product direction and actionable Linear tickets.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to test flows and align engineering before implementation.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system as the product scales.
• Own broader design initiatives when needed, including brand, go-to-market materials, presentations, website, and marketing work.
• Participate in critique, provide direct feedback, and help establish design quality standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software design experience at senior or staff level, including technical products for expert users.
• Strong visual and graphic design craft, with the ability to produce clean work independently of AI tools.
• Expertise in Figma for wireframing, user flows, prototyping, and production-ready delivery.
• Fluency with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude, and Codex for design and prototyping.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries or reusable patterns, SaaS, and information-dense interfaces.
• Ability to work on-site in New York or relocate to the area.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI or agentic products.
• Motion design skills or strong attention to interaction details.
• Experience with website CMS builders for brand and marketing support.
• Experience building design team culture and rituals from scratch.
• A design background that adds range to the existing team.
