Radiology Technician Assistant-Imaging Full Time Days

Location: Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays

Salary: $17.32–$21.65 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare imaging rooms, equipment, supplies, paperwork, and physician orders before patient arrival.
• Escort and prepare patients, explain basic exam information, and support technologists, nurses, and physicians during imaging procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow, monitor schedules and delays, and communicate with clinical staff, coordinators, patients, and physicians.
• Verify demographic information, reconcile orders with exam protocols, retrieve orders from EPIC, Chartview, and PowerChart, and process imaging records and CDs.
• Assist with patient lifting and transport while following safe patient handling procedures and department standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, monitor supplies and contrast media, use RadNet and PACS, and complete assigned safety and clerical support tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• CPR certification, BLS.
• Computer skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work full-time, 80 hours per pay period, on the day shift with rotating weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a healthcare delivery position.
• Bilingual language skills.
