Radiology Technician (Full Benefits and PTO) Port St. Lucie, FL

Location: Onsite in Port St. Lucie, Florida

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support onsite providers with patient intake, clinic workflow, appointment scheduling, and outside referrals.
• Perform EKG testing, injections, phlebotomy services, TB skin tests, and other directed clinical procedures.
• Operate X-ray equipment, apply appropriate imaging techniques and service codes, and maintain quality improvement logs.
• Prepare examination rooms, explain procedures, position and monitor patients during imaging exams, and answer patient questions.
• Maintain confidential patient information in the electronic medical record and manage required site paperwork.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot radiology equipment, coordinate repairs, and maintain equipment and supply inventories.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program and radiology technician certification.
• Associate degree plus at least 2 years of radiology technician experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, supportive approach to patient interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an onsite primary care clinic and prioritize patient care.

• Experience working in primary care.
• Phlebotomy experience.
