Full Time Float Medical Assistant

Location: Primarily based in Riverside, Pico Rivera, or Murrieta, California, with required travel to other company locations within the state and/or region.

Salary: $23.00–$30.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review patient information, collect health updates, and record accurate data in medical records.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures under provider direction.
• Handle front-desk operations, including scheduling, check-in, check-out, records requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach, care-gap follow-up, and continuity of care across different clinic teams.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the state and/or region and maintain a flexible schedule for coverage at short notice.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
