Radiology Technician Assistant-Imaging Orland Park Full Time Days

Location: Onsite in Orland Park, Illinois, United States. Full-time day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 80 hours per pay period, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Salary: $17.32–$21.65 per hour

What you will do

• Support technologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in Imaging Services.
• Prepare procedure rooms, paperwork, physician orders, supplies, and equipment before patient arrival.
• Prepare, escort, and care for patients during imaging exams and procedures, including explaining basic exam information.
• Coordinate patient flow, monitor schedules, communicate delays, and support departmental imaging protocols.
• Retrieve and verify physician orders and patient information using EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart, Radnet, and PACS.
• Process CDs and films, maintain supplies and equipment, complete safety checklists, and report problems to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• CPR certification through BLS.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and escort patients and follow safe patient-handling procedures.
• Ability to work the specified full-time day schedule, including alternating weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a healthcare delivery position.
• Bilingual language skills.
