Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of distribution planning professionals.
• Optimize inventory availability, turns, velocity, distribution center capacity, and total supply chain costs.
• Partner with demand planning, production, operations, customer service, sales, logistics, and business teams to align forecasts and product positioning with customer demand.
• Monitor finished goods inventory, customer scorecards, SKU-location forecasts, slow-moving stock, obsolete inventory, and scrap risk.
• Manage new product introductions and product eliminations while preventing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Serve as the functional expert for the Inventory Optimization tool and improve processes through automation and simplification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or forecasting, preferably in the chemical or retail industry.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Intermediate proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, along with strong math skills.
• Ability to develop process expertise, troubleshoot effectively, build working relationships, and maintain excellent attendance.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as business needs require.
