Supply Chain Operations Manager - Tank Management (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Coordinate communication with suppliers, warehouses, customers, and logistics service providers, including short business trips to partner sites.
• Manage tank terminals, survey activities, and the transportation of liquid chemicals by ocean-going vessels and barges.
• Prepare and send customer call-off confirmations, place supplier call-offs, and commission and monitor transports.
• Monitor customs stocks and warehouse stocks while coordinating with Product Management and internal service departments.
• Prepare and execute monthly and annual financial statements and process insurance claims.
• Contribute to projects supporting the further development of the Chemicals Business Unit.

Requirements

• Completed commercial or logistics vocational training with proven experience in order and transport processing.
• Technical understanding and experience with transport by sea or inland waterway vessels.
• Knowledge of hazardous goods requirements is advantageous.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in common IT applications, including MS Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
