What you will do

  • Manage an automotive safety products portfolio from release through high-volume production.
  • Propose and execute industrial strategies covering manufacturing footprint, diversification, cost, supply, and quality.
  • Lead industrial programs, cost engineering, volume ramp-up, safe launch, sustaining projects, and change management.
  • Manage product dual sourcing, transfers, suppliers, and supply chain support.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners.
  • Direct dedicated test and product engineering teams primarily located in Asia and report to the PL DES Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in electronics or microelectronics.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of semiconductor industry experience, including fabs, development, sustaining, or quality, with mandatory automotive-sector experience.
  • Experience managing projects or global initiatives, volume ramp-up, test engineering, and product engineering.
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end semiconductor processes and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering communities, coordinating stakeholders, and applying statistical and quality-improvement methods; people leadership experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards including IATF 16949 and AEC Q100, plus experience with customer interactions.
