Business Operations Manager / Associate

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Egypt

Salary: Up to EUR 25,000 per year, depending on experience, under a full-time contractor contract.

What you will do

• Work directly with the Head of Operations to identify problems, make decisions, and implement improvements.
• Manage people operations, including contracts, onboarding, policies, and day-to-day employee processes.
• Support finance operations such as invoicing, expenses, payroll inputs, and cash-flow tracking.
• Find and eliminate manual, slow, and duplicated work through process improvements and automation.
• Manage SaaS, AI, and cloud costs by tracking spending, identifying waste, and negotiating renewals.

Requirements

• Mid-level operational experience with the ability to work across people, finance, tooling, and processes.
• Strong initiative, ownership, reliability, follow-through, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to read contracts, build spreadsheet models, automate workflows, and negotiate renewals.
• Numeracy and willingness to investigate financial information; formal finance training is not required.
• Experience using AI and modern productivity tools to work more efficiently.
• Ability to work remotely from Egypt under a contractor arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience building or running a startup, small business, product, or team.
• Previous experience in a startup, technology company, or fast-growth environment.
