(Junior) Operations Manager (m/f/d) - NRW (Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Greater Ruhr area or surrounding area, covering Duisburg, Dortmund and Essen, Germany, with regular on-site visits and occasional regional travel.

What you will do

• Own daily operational performance across a multi-site portfolio and coordinate local teams, service providers and property managers.
• Monitor quality standards, KPIs, cost ratios and P&L metrics to improve operational performance and profitability.
• Support pre-opening and go-live phases, operational readiness and property handovers.
• Manage cleaning, laundry, maintenance and other supplier relationships, ensuring reliable service and continuous improvement.
• Create and adapt processes, resolve complex operational issues and collaborate with Guest Experience, Project Development, Expansion and international Operations teams.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in operations, multi-site management or hospitality.
• Strong process orientation and a data-driven approach using KPIs and SOPs.
• Professional, diplomatic communication skills and confidence managing landlords, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong organization, multitasking, resilience and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• German and English at C1 level required.
• Based in the Greater Ruhr area or surrounding area, with flexibility for occasional regional travel.
