Director, Transparency Services Equities (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements. Some travel is required.

Salary for NY/NJ: $154,400–$312,600 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Own the P&L and business operations for OTC Equity products and facilities.
• Develop market strategy, business plans, product roadmaps, pricing models, and launches aligned with customer needs and regulatory objectives.
• Shape market structure and policy positions for unlisted equities, including trading, operations, and compliance procedures.
• Lead real-time decisions on market halts, corporate actions, trade breaks, and extraordinary market conditions.
• Engage with trading firms, ATSs, technology providers, regulators, and other external stakeholders through negotiations, presentations, seminars, and committee work.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementations, resolve participant issues, and manage business content for OTC Equity pages on the hirify.global website.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in equity markets, including market structure, market data, and the regulatory environment.
• Deep knowledge of OTC equity markets, unlisted securities, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing P&L, business operations, pricing models, complex product solutions, and concurrent projects.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into system and product solutions and present effectively to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, technology, and innovation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience trading or selling equities in buy-side, sell-side, or market-making environments.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency trading and tokenized equities.
• Experience with ATSs, market data products, or financial market infrastructure.
• Graduate degree such as an MBA or JD, or relevant industry certifications.
