Senior Director, Product Management – Trading Platform & Data (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in the Soho office

Annual base salary for residents of the New York, NY area: $250,000–$275,000, plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the trading platform, platform services and APIs, and data products.
• Lead development of a scalable and reliable platform for complex private-market transactions and regulatory requirements.
• Build and monetize datasets, APIs, derived analytics, index products, and platform offerings.
• Define KPIs for platform performance, data adoption, API usage, and business impact.
• Partner with engineering, data research, operations, legal, sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management organization, including senior technical product managers.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of product management experience with significant leadership experience in fintech, trading platforms, or data products.
• Deep expertise in capital markets, trading systems, and market data products.
• Experience scaling complex platform products, APIs, backend systems, and data products.
• Strong technical fluency in architecture, APIs, and system design.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams.
• Understanding of financial-market regulatory and compliance requirements, including FINRA and SEC considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience in private markets, secondary trading, alternative asset management, institutional trading systems, exchanges, or marketplaces.
• Familiarity with market data vendors and tools such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
• Experience with API-first business models and platform ecosystems.
• MBA or an advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field.
