Director of Product, Broker-Dealer (Fintech)

Location: New York City, hybrid; four days per week in-office, with no required office days during the summer and winter holidays

Salary: $220,000–$250,000 per year, with potential variable compensation through a company incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead product teams responsible for portfolio management, trade execution, recordkeeping, high-yield cash, and market data platforms.
• Own the shared Broker-Dealer roadmap supporting retail investing, hirify.global for Advisors, and hirify.global at Work.
• Define and track platform health metrics, including trade execution quality and reconciliation accuracy.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Capital Markets, and Investing teams in a highly regulated environment.
• Use AI-driven workflows and prototyping to accelerate product development and improve team collaboration.
• Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team of product managers.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of product management experience leading products in complex technical domains.
• Technical fluency in system design, data flows, and platform tradeoffs.
• Experience managing, leading, and developing product managers.
• Strong storytelling, analytical, creative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work across multi-year platform strategy and detailed problems such as tax lot tracking, fee accrual, and trade aggregation.
• Experience launching products with broad stakeholder collaboration and operating within regulatory and technical constraints.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with trading or investment platforms.
• Experience developing portfolio management capabilities.
