Senior Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Lead (Banking)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; or Cleveland, OH, United States

Base salary: $112,000–$208,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

hirify.global is a banking and financial services organization with a centralized Finance function supporting regulatory reporting, accounting, risk, and business operations.

What you will do

• Provide regulatory reporting advice for new products, transactions, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and develop technical positions covering accounting, capital, liquidity, and financial reporting.
• Monitor regulatory, accounting, and industry developments and assess their impact on reporting obligations and processes.
• Lead regulatory change implementation from impact assessment through stakeholder communication and readiness activities.
• Maintain regulatory reporting policies, governance standards, and interpretive guidance across the enterprise.
• Strengthen controls and collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Technology, Operations, and business teams, including support for examinations and remediation.

Requirements

• In-office work is required in Pittsburgh, Birmingham, or Cleveland.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements such as FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, and Call Report, including related accounting considerations.
• Strong understanding of banking products, capital, and liquidity concepts.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to working teams and senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree and typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, accounting systems, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
